We Build Hybrid Pools
What is a hybrid pool? The three most common types of in-ground pools today are vinyl, fiberglass, and concrete. Our pools are a hybrid, or combination, of fiberglass and concrete. The benefits? You get the design freedom of gunite, the superior strength of concrete, and the maintenance-free quality of fiberglass!
The best of all pool worlds.
Our Process
Pool construction is complex. This will help you understand what’s going on behind the scenes:
The Walls
Our pool walls are constructed with a continuous fiberglass structure called Uniwall© that can be formed into any shape, size, or depth. Uniwall is self supporting, maintenance free, and most importantly, remains both sturdy and flexible in winter climates when the ground expands and contracts.
The Floor
Once the walls are in place and reinforced, the concrete floor of the pool is poured and connects to the existing footing creating a monolithic watertight seal. Once cured, the floor is sealed with a waterproof Epoxy paint.
The Finishing Touches
Nothing puts the finishing touch on your custom pool like a border of gorgeous porcelain ceramic tile or beautiful limestone coping. From the patio, to the coping, to the waterline tile, with so many styles, colors, and materials to choose from, the possibilities are endless!
